Policies

 

Booking: Scheduling is conducted via phone call, text, or email, or using the contact form provided here. When booking or sending an inquiry about our services, please provide the following information:

  • Your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address

  • Address of Property

  • Approximate square footage of property

  • If applicable, any passcodes, lockbox, or SUPRA key code required to enter the property

  • A credit or debit card for payment

Confirmation: Appointments will be confirmed via text, Google Calendar invite, or email following booking.

Property Readiness: A checklist will be provided via email in advance of your scheduled appointment. Properties must be “photo-ready” at the time of your appointment. Due to our efforts to schedule efficiently and with as little wasted time as possible, the photographer will not wait for occupants, sellers, or agents to clean, move furniture, rearrange decorative items, or secure animals. Properties will be photographed as they are presented when the photographer arrives. Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health of our clients and the photographer, we ask that all occupants please wait outside or make arrangements to leave in advance of the appointment. Likewise, our photographer will always treat every property with the utmost respect and act in a manner consistent with cleanliness and recommended COVID-19 protocols.

Cancellations: Scheduled appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled within less than 24 hours of the scheduled time will not be subject to refunds, though a credit may be applied if the appointment is rescheduled within the following week. Cancellations must be communicated directly via text or email to (732)261-2569, (607)331-8713 or frank@jvt-foto.com.

Payments: Payment is due at time of services rendered. A credit or debit card to secure your appointment is required at the time the appointment is booked. Alternative payment methods will not be accepted unless approved in advance of the appointment, in writing, by the scheduler or photographer. Pricing is firm and non-negotiable.

Delivery: Photos will be delivered as soon as possible after all necessary edits and enhancements have been made, via either Google Drive or Dropbox. Virtual Tour Add-ons will be delivered via email. You can create a free Dropbox account here in advance of your appointment. In most circumstances, we can assist you in uploading your photos to your preferred multiple listing service. Please inquire ahead of your appointment if you require assistance with any of these delivery methods. We will keep your tours active and will retain your photos within the original Dropbox or Google Drive file for at least one year unless otherwise requested,

Invoices and Bookkeeping: Invoices and paid receipts can be provided via email upon request. JVT is a company, not an independent contractor, and as such does not provide clients with tax forms of any kind for end of year bookkeeping.
